Anyone can make their own sushi at home using this premium Sushi Making Kit! With the right tools and some practice, you’ll be wowing your friends with restaurant-style sushi in no time. No machine necessary!
Every bamboo item in this kit is made from 100% natural bamboo that is carbonized to prevent splintering and increase durability. Together with the food-grade cotton threads, this kit is safe for your food!
The 2 included matchstick bamboo mats are designed to give you the best assist for the perfect sushi roll – every time! Simple to handle and sturdy, they'll make you feel like a true chef!
Never made sushi before? No problem! The Bamboo Sushi Maker Kit is perfect for beginners. It has all the tools needed, so you’ll be making California rolls in no time!
Easily hand-clean your tools with some warm water! You can also cover the bamboo mat with plastic wrap to prevent the rice from sticking. Talk about effortless cleaning!
1. Place your bamboo mat on a cutting board, ensuring the lines face horizontally.
Tip: Place a layer of plastic wrap on the mat to prevent the rice from sticking!
2. Using the spreader, spread a thin layer of rice over the nori (seaweed). Flatten the rice with the paddle. We recommend allowing space at the top edge of the nori sheet; this will help you later during the sealing process!
3. Here’s the fun part! Add your ingredients on top of the rice, doing your best to keep an even surface.
Tip: To make an inside-out sushi roll, turn your nori sheet over and place ingredients on the nori before rolling.
4. Gently lift the mat from the bottom, up and over the sushi. Press with care and roll the mat upwards with some pressure. You’re looking for a nice, firm roll!
5. Stop once you reach an inch to the top of your nori. Dab a line of cold water at the top edge of your sushi roll – and seal away!
Tip: You can ensure a tight roll by squeezing the mat until the roll is uniform to your liking.
6. Carefully cut the sushi rolls to your desired length with a sharp knife. To ensure a clean and precise cut, wet your knife after each roll cut.
7. Presentation is key! Line your rolls on a cutting board or a favorite serving tray, and enjoy with wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce.
Sushi calls for its own rice – sticky, fluffy, and prepared with rice vinegar and sugar. This short-grain rice – Japonica – is common in Japan, California, and Italy. While you can use long-grain rice in your creations, short-grain is highly recommended due to its adhesive quality.
Maintenance is key for your sushi-making kit! For best use, hand wash and dry thoroughly, then store kit contents away from heat.

If I'd known making sushi was this easy, I'd have gotten a kit long ago. I'm trying all kinds of crazy ingredients in my home-made sushi and I'm loving it!
Where has this gadget been all my life? Finally, sushi at home!
Maybe I just have fat fingers but I'm struggling to get the hang of it. I'll try again over the weekend. Besides still learning, it's good quality.
