How the product works:

  • Here's a basic guide to your versatile carbon steel wok pan: 

    • Heat your wok for around 5 to 7 minutes.
    • Check its heat level by adding a drop of water. If it sizzles, you're good to go!
    • Add a small splash of your favorite healthy oil and get cooking!

  • Cleaning:

    Remove any food scraps, wash with warm soapy water, and dry well. Easy!

  • Seasoning:

    We’ll let you in on a little secret: our blue carbon steel wok comes pre-seasoned, so there’s no need to add more when cooking. Your wok will absorb oils and maximize seasoning over time. We love a product that works for you!

    Good news, though: if you’d like to season your metal wok, it will only enhance the flavor. Just wash and dry it, coat with a thin layer of healthy oil, and bake for an hour at 375 °F.

Yes, your Uno Casa wok will cook evenly on electric, gas, and induction surfaces. Enjoy!

Should a wok have a wooden handle?

We like to think so! These blue carbon wok handles are made from sustainable and sturdy bamboo for comfort and safety reasons. But, we’re all about versatility, so remove the handles to pop the wok in the oven as a casserole dish. 

How hard is it to season?

Because the carbon steel wok comes pre-seasoned, there is no need to season before use! If you’d like to season, however, a few steps:

1. Wash.

2. Dry and coat with a thin layer of healthy oil.

3. Remove the handle.

4. Bake the wok at 375 °F for around an hour.

What can you cook in a carbon steel wok?

It’s up to you! We mostly like to cook tasty Asian meals, but also don’t stray away from our favorite hand-me-down pumpkin pie recipe. Luckily, this pan can do it all, from tofu to your next tasty casserole dish.
